How to Retrieve/Change Login Password

Ensuring account security is the top priority of your mining journey. BitFuFu provides you with a flexible password management mechanism to ensure you can quickly complete operations when you forget your password or need to upgrade your security level.


If you forget your login password, you can reset it through the following steps:


  1. Access the Login Page: Open the BitFuFu official website homepage and click the "Log In" button in the upper right corner.


  1. Initiate Retrieval Request: After entering your account email, click the "Forget Password" button at the bottom of the login window.


  1. Verify Identity: Verify via "Email".

Enter the corresponding account information and click to send the verification code.

  1. Set New Password: After entering the verification code you received, you can set a new login password.


  1. Complete Reset: After confirming the new password, you can log in again using the new password.



How to Change Login Password (Online Modification)

If you remember your current password but want to modify it for security reasons, please follow this process:

  1. Log in and Access Account Center: Log in to your BitFuFu account and click "Dashboard" in the upper right corner.


  1. Locate Password Modification: In the "Account Settings" area, find the "Login Password" column.


  1. Execute Modification: Click the "Change" button on the right side.


  1. Security Verification: Follow the system prompts to enter your current password for verification.


  1. Set New Password: Enter and confirm your new password, which will take effect after saving.



Security Expert Advice

  • Regular Replacement: It is recommended to change your login password every 3-6 months.
  • Independence: Do not use the same password on multiple platforms to avoid chain risks.
  • Combination Complexity: Passwords should contain uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters.
  • Multiple Protection: It is highly recommended to use it in conjunction with Google Authentication (2FA) to provide dual protection for your account.
